Afghanistan. The place’s name echoed in my head. Any expression on my face dropped as I looked towards the ground, my face likely pale.
“What’s wrong?” Francine and Tristan asked me at the same at the same time. “She’s finally scared.” Lucas condescending tone should have sent me off, but I shook my head, the name still echoing in my head like a mantra. Afghanistan, Afghanistan, Afghanistan. Few know about the legendary Triple S agency, and even fewer know what is stands for. Only agents, teenagers trained for years to deal with all kinds of situations, know what goes on in the agency and only team leaders know why they go on missions.
Josephine has been bred to become a team leader, and now that she finally is, the pressure is on. Dealing with her co-leader, Lucas, is bad enough but being kidnapped by the people who killed your father is another thing entirely. Josephine's team, along with the legendary agent Tristan Price, try to stop the agency that killed Josephine's father and countless other American troops once and for all. |

My breath caught in my throat. “You!” I pointed an accusing finger at him.
He looked around comically, looking back at me after a couple of seconds. “Me?” he mouthed. I strode over to him. “Yes, you!” I said, poking his chest with my finger. “You didn’t help me up!” Realization dawned on his face. “You’re the girl who ran into me!” “You’re the wall that was in my way!” He laughed sardonically. “What an amazing reply!" I huffed out a breath and looked to my Dad for help, but he was just watching me with slanted eyes. “Emalie, this is Drew Mason.” I grinned at Drew sarcastically. “What a pleasure to meet you.” Drew looked to his Dad, who was giving him the same look mine was. “Charmed.” Emalie Jacobson has been through a lot in the past year. From her mother passing away from causes that she's been kept in the dark about, to moving to a new town once Emalie got her inheritance. She was starting to get better, but then Drew Mason walked into her-- literally. |

David Noapte had a hard life; his father had forced him to enlist when he was only eighteen and he served two tours before coming back when his father had been killed. With no choice but to pick up the reigns of the pack, David became Alpha. Over time, the mental barrier that he had created while in the military doubled from the violence and he added a barrier around his heart as well. He had finally begun to give up on the prospect of having a mate when Anabla Inger stumbled upon his land.
Anabla Inger had never been a trouble-maker. She had her opinions and she wasn't afraid to voice them, but she followed the rules and respected authority. She was passionate about music and enjoyed walking in the woods to clear her head. When the subject of walking in the woods alone was brought up, she only heard one thing, "Don't go far.". However, one night, in a fit of grief and anger, she went further than she had been before and found her way to Regretabil Castle. "When I can't find the words To say how much it hurts You are the healing in my heart When all that I can see Are broken memories You are the light that's in the dark" -Colton Dixon, You Are |

"Who's there?" I whisper into the darkness, closing my eyes in anticipation. The eerie weather coupled with the full moon made me paranoid about what was out there, and hearing branches crack under pressure not far from me coupled with the eyes made the instinct to run even more prominent. But even then, a part of me was at peace.
A man stepped out from behind the tree in front of me and I stifled the scream rising in my throat as I took a frightened step back. "Who are you?" I ask, trying to make as little noise as possible. "I'm Nathaniel," he replied, stepping out from behind the tree entirely and standing directly in front of me. My eyebrows furrowed when I realized he was shirtless, and as I dared to take a peek at him I squeaked and put and hand over my eyes. Why was he naked? " And I'm your mate, angel." Alpha Nataniel Canius has waited for his mate since he turned eighteen. That was five years ago. Now, as the full moon nears, he can sense his mate's coming of age and he's getting anxious. Katrina Grey has always loved the moon, especially when it was full. She heard the legends about lycanthrops lurking in the woods from her superstitious best friend Joanne but continues to wander into the woods when the moon is at its peak. Even on her eighteenth birthday. Nathaniel and Katrina meet that night and now Nathaniel can't get enough of his mate, his Alpha Female, his soul. But everything changes when Joanne is suddenly kidnapped by the most feared rogue in history, and it turns out he was hiding right under their noses the entire time. |
