“No!” Niall shouted as his avatar fell to the ground. “How did you do that? “
“XXBYX, baby!” I yelled, jumping up to do a little happy dance.
Then Jim slammed on the brakes and I flew back into the couch, landing haphazardly on both Harry and Louis. I scrambled up and let their confused stares.
“Thank you, Jim!” I yelled to the front of the bus.
I shook my head and squished myself back between Niall and Louis. I picked up my controller off the ground where it had dropped as I jumped up and calmly pressed the play button.
“I’m going to kick your butt.” Niall said, leaning forward in concentration.
Here's the first paragraph of chapter twenty-two of Celebrity Interview.
Excited? I know I am! And here's the graphics video I made yesterday. -Meg
Oh my goodness. Am I actually going to go write something? Yup, the rumors are true. I am indeed writing. Although, my computer decided to lose 700 words about ten minutes ago and I'm kind of mad right now. But, I'll give you a little sneak peek of chapter twenty of Celebrity Interview.
"One, two, three!" he yelled and I sucked in a nervous breath as the air whisked around me.
So, there it is! The sneak peek. Although, I'm not sure how many of you actually check back here...Shame on you! I might have to post it on a message to everyone. Who knows.
Anyways, I'm going back to writing so expect an update this weekend!
After reading the series, memorizing lines and scenes, getting a Raziel tank top and painting my dad's nails, I finally saw the movie I've been waiting over eight months for. And most of the people in the Shadowhunter fandom waited four years!
We open up with Clary Fray (Lily Collins) talking on the phone with her best friend Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan). In the book itself, we started off at the Pandemonium Club. And that's the thing; not EVERYTHING was the same as the book! There were more demons, more action, less characters (Max and Chairman Meow). And I think it was easier for the non-fans to follow.
Also, the acting was impeccable! In a particular scene, Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan) and Clary Fray (Lilly Collins) hug after a fight and Jace Wayland (Jamie Campbell Bower) looks so heartbroken and just angst-ridden that I nearly cried.
But, even if you're not a fan of romance, the action in this movie was amazing. My dad, one of the few males in the theatre, actually enjoyed it! Especially the Hotel Dumort (which is the vampire coven's lair) and the Valentine (Jonathan Rhys Meyer) and Jace (Jamie Campbell Bower) scene had me clenching my fist in anger and yet really, really excited to see what happened.
And the ending, by far, was the best part even though it didn't happen in the book itself. But, I'm not going to give it away. You'll have to go watch it yourself.
All in all, my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and it was totally worth the wait. Check out our reaction to the romance below!
Welcome to my new website! With an attention span like mine, it's no surprise that I got bored of the old site. But, you can still visit it here if you'd really like to.
If you don't know me and you've just stumbled across this page, let me introduce myself.
Hello, I'm Meg, and I'm a writer. I enjoy long walks on the beach and watching the sunset. I'm also a high school student.
If you haven't checked out my books, go ahead and click on that little "My Books" page. It'll bring you to a page where I've posted all my original stories. And you can find a link so you can read them instead of looking at all the pretty covers and banners for them.
That's all for now, but make sure to check back every now and then for more book news!
I'm Meg Queenz, a young adult with a passion for the written word. I like to read a lot of book, but right now paranormals dominate my desk while fantasy and contemporary are making an impact on my stack of books.
